Das integrierte Open-Source-Bibliothekssystem Koha verfügt über alle gängigen Module um die Geschäftsgänge in Bibliotheken zu unterstützen: OPAC, Katalogisierung, Ausleihe und Benutzerverwaltung, Erwerbung, Zeitschriftenverwaltung, Reports und Statistiken. Das BSZ hostet und betreut Koha-Installationen für mehrere Hochschulen, Forschungsinstitute, Spezialbibliotheken, Schulbibliotheken und Seminare für Didaktik und Lehrerbildung sowie Kataloge für die Präsentation von Handschriften. Das BSZ bietet für Koha ein umfangreiches Dienstleistungspaket nach dem Modell Software-as-a-Service.
